Ruby G. Uy was born on March 8 in Manila Philippines. She is the eldest of the 8 siblings in her family.  She is married to Romy Uy and they have two grown up children and 3 grand children.

       She is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of the East (Cum Laude) in Manila, Philippines in 1965.

       For the past 10 years, she has worked with Chatsworth Products, Inc. in Chatsworth, California as a Plant Controller.  She also did work as an Accounting Manager for Jafra Cosmetics International, located in Westlake Village, California for over 24 years and as a Staff Accountant for Paper Mate in Santa Monica, California for 5 years.

       She lived her Cursillo Weekend at the Divine Word Retreat Center in Riverside, California in 1997, Class No. 28. ♦
