Robles The Lay Director, in consultation with the Spiritual Advisor, will convoke, preside at, prepare and direct agendas for all meetings of the Board. The Lay Director will do everything possible to promote a spirit of unity, not only among the members of the Filipino Cursillo Board, but in School of Leaders and throughout the whole Diocesan Cursillo Movement. The Lay Director will see to it that the members of the Board fulfill their assigned duties and responsibilities. In addition, the Lay Director will insure an annual report and interim reports will be provided, to the Bishop with the approval of the Board. The Lay Director shall serve for (3) three years and for a serious reason may be re-appointed for another term of office. The Lay Director may not serve more than two consecutive terms. Previous Lay Directors Evangeline "Vangie" Bravo Assistant Lay Director Term of Office: January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2014 (email: ebravo@fullerton.edu) About Evangeline Bravo The Assistant Lay Director shall handle the duties and responsibilities of the Lay Director in his/her absence or in the event the Lay Director is unable to perform the duties and responsibilities as defined in the Bylaws. In addition, the Assistant Lay Director shall act as the Coordinator for the DWHL-Days With the Helpers of the Lord program, coordinate the newly graduate cursillista's welcome and all social functions sanctioned by the Cursillo Board. Social functions will include but not limited to picnic, Christmas party, camping and all Cursillo sponsored fundraising actitvities. The Assistant Lay Director will, from time to time, perform the task assigned to him/her by the Lay Director. Mayhew The Chairperson of the School of Leaders will convoke, preside at, prepare and direct all activities relating to the School of Leaders. Upon recommendations of the Board, the Chairperson of the School will determine the Doctrinal and Technique presentations, and presenters, for the School. The Chairperson will also ensure that all the essential elements of the School are maintained, for continual growth of its participants. The term of office of the Chairperson of the School of Leaders shall be three years and cannot serve two consecutive terms. Parent The Chairperson of the Pre Cursillo insures that the Movement maintains its focus on the various environments within the diocese. Continued efforts must be exerted in order to identify key environments and the influential people within the environments. The Chairperson further insures that proper procedures are in place to insure a smooth transition from the Pre Cursillo to the Post Cursillo (by way of the Cursillo weekend). Manalo The Chairperson of the Cursillo insures that every element of the Cursillo Weekend is directed to properly educating the candidates who attend those Weekends. This includes such things as: 1) team selection, 2) team preparation, 3) overseeing the facilities, 4) comfort (proper nourishment and rest), and 5) necessary supplies. Dimacali Post Cursillo Chairperson Term of Office: January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2014 (email: danieldimacali@yahoo.com) About Daniel B. Dimacali The Chairperson of the Post Cursillo insures that every Cursillista within the Archdiocesan Movement has the opportunity to grow in their own Fourth Day. This is accomplished by insuring a link between the School of Leaders and all the Group Reunions within the Archdiocese. Furthermore, the Chairperson of the Post Cursillo insures that an adequate number of Ultreyas (the source of lineage between the various Group Reunions) are in existence within the Archdiocese. The Chairperson of the Post Cursillo is also responsible for determining and scheduling necessary Archdiocesan, regional and national workshops. The term of office of the Chairperson of the Post Cursillo shall be three years and cannot serve two consecutive terms. Previous Post Cursillo Chairpersons Agnes E. Golingay Secretary Term of Office: January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2014 (email: aegolingay@gmail.com) About Agnes E. Golingay The Secretary will keep the minutes of all meetings and see to it that they are distributed promptly to all whom should receive them. The Secretary will see to it that mailing lists are up-to-date and assume responsibility for all mailings sent out by the Board. The Secretary will perform other duties usually connected with this position. The term of office of the Secretary will be three years and cannot serve two consecutive terms. Previous Secretaries Lucena "Len" Balino Treasurer Term of Office: January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2014 (email: balino639@yahoo.com) About Lucena Balino The Treasurer shall handle the financial matters of the Cursillo Movement. The Treasurer will do whatever is necessary to ensure that the Movement is financially sound at all times and those local, regional and national financial obligations are met. It is the responsibility of the Treasurer to see that required books, publications and other supplies, which are needed by the Movement, are always available. The term of office of the Treasurer shall be three years and cannot serve two consecutive terms. About Ruby G. Uy The Auditor will ensure that paper trails regarding financial matters are intact and will work closely with the Treasurer making sure that all financial obligations are met and that of a proper accounting. It will be the responsibility of the Auditor to keep track of all capital equipment owned by the Board. The term of office of the Auditor shall be for three years and cannot serve two consecutive terms. Previous Auditors Jose "Joe" C. De Leon Liturgy/Worship Chairperson Term of Office: January 14, 2012 - December 31, 2012 (email: jdeleon@socal.rr.com) About Jose C. De Leon The Liturgy/Worship Chairperson shall ensure that supplies, worship aids necessary for a Eucharistic celebration are intact and plentiful. The Liturgy/Worship Chairperson shall coordinate with the Spiritual Advisor for the apostolic and spritual formation of the leaders. The term of office of the Liturgy/Worhsip Chairperson shall be three years and cannot serve two consecutive terms. Rev. Msgr. Nestor C. Rebong Spiritual Advisor Term of Office: July 1, 2010 - Present Pastor - St. Christoper Church (email: NRebong@aol.com) About Msgr. Nestor C. Rebong The Spiritual Advisor, oversees the spiritual needs of the Board and the Movement. The Spiritual Advisor, who is appointed by the Bishop, maintains a link between the Movement and the Bishop's office. To insure proper spiritual assistance to the Movement, the Spiritual Advisor is responsible for acquiring other priests, vowed religious and deacons to assist with the Doctrinal Talks, at the School of Leaders, the spiritual sessions during the Cursillo Weekends and the Spiritual Advisor's role during the Ultreyas. The Spiritual Advisor should continually challenge the other Board members to discern all their activities. We must always strive to seek God's Will instead of our own. |
